JD: Senior Data Engineer
Strong experience in Python
Proficient in Data Ingestion, Data Processing, Data Exploration techniques
Intellectual curiosity to find new and unusual ways of how to solve data processing issues
Good work experience and proof of technical expertise in Apache Spark, AWS Glue, Lambda, Athena, S3, EMR, File formats Avro, Parquet, CSV, JSON etc.
Proficient in Big Data tools/frameworks, ETL, Data warehouse, Data Lake
Proficient in Linux
Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
Good to have - Any experience in Apache Open Source Data processing tools and technologies, Data Analytics tools, Design Patterns, CI/CD implementation
Conceptualizing and generating infrastructure that allows big data to be processed, accessed and analyzed efficiently and effectively
Deliver business value by making your data analysts and scientists more productive
Develop, construct, test maintain optimal and secure cloud in- house data pipelines
Reformulating existing frameworks to optimize their functioning
Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non- functional business requirements
Automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re- designing solutions for greater scalability, etc.
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources, AWS Technologies (AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, EMR etc.) and deal with variety of File formats - Avro, Parquet, CSV, JSON etc.
Build Data Lakes to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics
Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data- related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data sy
